Sambu central Primary in Webuye fetes teachers, promise Sterling performance

The academic giant Sambu Central Primary school in Webuye east,Bungoma county held a
thanksgiving ceremony at the school’s grounds.
In the last year Kenya certificate of Primary Education(KCPE),Sambu
central school emerged position one in Webuye east sub county and
garnered position five in Bungoma county with a mean score of 356.
In 2019, Sambu Central Primary school came into the public limelight
after producing Collins Omutere who scored 432 marks, becoming best
KCPE performer in Bungoma County.
Addressing parents and pupils,the school headteacher Mr. John Temba
attributed good performance to cooperation among
teachers,parents,board of management and pupils.
The event which was graced by Webuye East member of parliament Martin
Wanyonyi saw teachers awarded for the good work they have been doing
of training these pupils tirelessly.
Mr,Temba encouraged pupils to be obedient and hardworking and to
utilize their God given talents.
“I want to assure parents that my teaching staff has equally spent
mid night oil in preparing the candidates to excel at the top.”posed
Mr.Temba.
He further noted that school is now aiming higher and to be the
leading school in raising pupils who and well equipped spiritually,
intellectually, socially and academically.
In his remark,the area Member of Parliament Hon.Wanyonyi lauded the
school for making Webuye east proud.
He further promised to be supportive in matters of education in his
constituency.
