REVEALED: Former Kakamega Governorship aspirant Mable Muruli died of Covid19

Former Kakamega Gubernatorial Mable Muruli died of Covid19 according to his brother George Muruli.

“My sister had an underlying heart condition and last Sunday we took her to Nairobi Hospital and the doctor recommended that we take her to Coptic Hospital for specialized treatment. She was tested of Covid19 and the results turned out to be positive,” said George

According to George Muruli, her sister died at midnight as she was being transferred from Coptic Hopsital to Kenyatta Hospital for specialized treatment.

“My sister had an underlying heart condition and last Sunday we took her to Nairobi Hospital and the doctor recommended that we take her to Coptic Hospital for specialized treatment. She was tested of Covid19 and the results turned out to be positive,” said George.

He said that he developed breathing complications and was then put on life support machine saying that when her conditioned deteriorated, he recommended that she be taken to Kenyatta National Hospital on Thursday night.

Mable in the 2017 governorship polls emerged position three with 14,323 votes, Boni Khalwale was second with 134,999 votes while Governor Wycliffe Oparanya was declared the winner with 387,999 votes.

Leaders across the political divide led by Governor Oparnya upon learning demise eulogized her as a hardworking woman who would stop at nothing until she achieves her dreams.

“I’ve learnt with shock and sadness the death of Mama Mable Muruli. Kakamega has lost its hard working, committed, courageous & humble daughter whose contribution towards the growth of our County will be missed. May God grant her family fortitude & strength to bear the loss,” Oparanya wrote on his twitter account.

“I’ve learnt with shock and sadness the death of Mama Mable Muruli. Kakamega has lost its hard working, committed, courageous & humble daughter whose contribution towards the growth of our County will be missed. May God grant her family fortitude & strength to bear the loss,” Oparanya wrote on his twitter account.

Boni Khalwale wrote : “The closer it hits the more real it looks. Am saddened to mourn my sister Mrs. Mable Muruli Mark. Mukhana weru, you were a real jewel. Fare Thee Well,”.

“It’s with a heavy heart to learn of the death of Mabel Muruli. I shall cherish the many day’s we spend in Kakamega County campaigning for Jubilee party. Even as you pushed, your agenda to be considered for the gubernatorial seat you lost grace fully. Fair thee well my friend,” posted Sammy Itemere, former Broadcasting and Telecommunications Principal Secretary on his facebook account.
