Former Tembeleo MCA Evans Kapkea has been sworn as the new Deputy Govenor for Uasin Gishu County.
Kapkea’s appointment followed the resignation of his predecessor, John Barorot, who stepped down to pursue new opportunities abroad.
The ceremony, held at the county headquarters, drew a large crowd of supporters, community leaders, and well-wishers, reflecting the widespread excitement and optimism surrounding the county’s new leadership.
The swearing-in ceremony marked a moment of transition for the county, and Governor Jonathan Bii expressed his confidence in Kapkea’s leadership abilities.
