Mama Rachel Ruto Maternity Hospital has marked a significant milestone, delivering over 1,750 babies since its opening in June last year.

The facility has quickly established itself as a leading maternal healthcare provider in Uasin Gishu County, recording 1,597 normal deliveries and 157 cesarean sections in just nine months.

The hospital’s commitment to quality and timely care is evident in its daily operations. In the past 24 hours alone, the facility conducted 18 deliveries, including 12 normal births and 6 cesarean sections.

“This high volume of births is a testament to the hospital’s efficiency and the growing trust the community has placed in it. The number of deliveries in such a short period speaks volumes about the quality of service provided here,” said Dr Jonathan Bii, the Governor of Uasin Gishu County, during his visit to the facility on Friday.
