Nine police officers have been redeployed in the latest transfers affecting members of the inspectorate.
Nyandarua North Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Nicholas Kimoi Kibet has been transferred to Shianda Police Station in Kakamega County in the same position. Chief Inspector Kibet was promoted to OCS in November 2024 after serving as Deputy OCPD at the Amagoro Divisional Headquarters.
Former Busia Armourer Daisy Cherono has been moved to Awendo as Deputy Base Commander, while Deputy OCS Lugari Emmanuel Rono has been transferred to Matunda in the same capacity.
Other transfers include Simon Ndambuki, who moves from Vihiga County to Nairuria Police Station in Nyeri County, and James Mukunzu, who heads to Kilingili Police Station in Vihiga County from the Police Headquarters.
Fredrick Kibera has been posted to Chesuman Police Station in Elgeyo Marakwet from Kakamega County, while Kelvin Rutto moves from Vihiga to Kapkatet in Kericho County.
In addition, James Ndakala has been transferred from Kakamega County to the traffic section of the Northern Corridor Police Transport Unit, Sector 7, in Webuye, Bungoma County.
