The Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula has said that the country is broke.
Wetang’ula in a post on his Facebook account, said that President William Ruto only got Sh93.7million at the National Treasury.
“The economy is no longer in ICU But Death bed because H.E Ruto found only 93.7M at the treasury, Uhuru went home with everything. State Capture is REAL! The country is broke Kenyans be patient H.E Ruto shall fix this thro economic transformation & Prayers from all of us. Amen,” Wetang’ula posted on his Facebook account.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta Wetang’ula’s revelations were met with mixed reactions on social media.

He said all elected public officials should pay taxes in respect of the constitution. The Auditor general’s report about last fiscal year’s expenditure must be considered by the parliament, people must not leave public office and retire with our money .
