“In ANC, they wanted to rig me out and give the nomination certificate another person, I told them to stay withier party and certificate. Let’s meet with them at the ballot and see who will have the last smile,”

Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka Miradi has that he is not interested in getting Amani National Congress (ANC) party ticket for the August 8, polls.

Aseka claimed that the Musalia Mudavadi led party was planning to rig him out at the nominations for and give the certificate to his political competitor.

“In ANC, they wanted to rig me out and give the nomination certificate another person, I told them to stay withier party and certificate. Let’s meet with them at the ballot and see who will have the last smile,” said MP Aseka.

“Let it be clear that the person we should support for the August 8, presidential polls is Raila because our son (Mudavadi) and in deep slumber. We told Mudavadi to join Raila but he refused and we all know he won’t make it at the ballot if he goes alone,” Aseka told his supporters.

But political pundits argue that ANC wheeler-dealers have already on Godfrey Kanoti to fly the party ticket after Aseka, a one term MP, announced that he will be supporting ODM leader Raila Odinga who has fallen out of favour with Mudavadi.

Aseka has shown clearest indications that he might vie on ODM party in the forthcoming polls.

“Let it be clear that the person we should support for the August 8, presidential polls is Raila because our son (Mudavadi) and in deep slumber. We told Mudavadi to join Raila but he refused and we all know he won’t make it at the ballot if he goes alone,” Aseka told his supporters.

“When the month comes to an end, Raila will come to my home and meet with you people. We shall cook fish for and then listen to him. He only wants five years to lead the country and then we chat the way forward. Let’s not cheat each other we can defeat Raila even those in UDA are daydreaming,” said the Khwisero MP.

Aseka has also announced that he will be hosting the ODM leader at his home next month; a move that political analysts believe is meant to announce his official defection to the Orange party.

Besides Aseka, Matungu MP Peter Nabulindo, Oku Kaunya (Teso North) and Ayub Savula (Lugari) appear to be warming up to Raila.

It is only Lurambi MP Bishop Titus Khamala and his Butere counterpart, Tindi Mwale, who have remained loyal to Mudavadi from the region.

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala by him attending DP William Ruto’s rally in Eldoret has also elicited mixed reactions though Mudavadi has come to his defense.
