A renowned university don in Kakamega town is yet to come to terms after his date flopped.

This is after the revered Professor of Biomedical Sciences in one of the local universities in Kakamega discovered he has been dating his biological daughter.

The lecturer had been dating a voluptuous slay queen from Kakamega County close to two months after meeting on an online dating site.

The chips funga is a university student taking International Relations and Development Studies in one of the colleges in Kakamega town.

The don is said to have given instructions to a waitress in one of the leading hotels in Kakamega town to prepare a room for them and that he will be checking in at around 7.00pm.

The slay queen was to check in earlier and wait for the varsity don since he was still held up in a meeting in Kisumu.

According to the waitress only identified as Moraa, the don sent her sh4, 500 to do the booking and her token of sh500.

Ms Monica said he gave her the contacts of the slay queen with instructions that when she will check in, to be served with drinks and supper.

“He prefers to meet the young girls when in drunken stupor but this one was different since she doesn’t take alcohol. She only took juice after supper,” said Moraa.

She said drama started when the don arrived at the hotel wearing a black cape on his head, Manchester United scurf tied around his neck and dark glasses.

“He went straight to the room and was shocked when he saw his first born daughter waiting for him. He shouted ‘what are you doing here’? .The girl started trembling upon seeing her father very angry after his date turned sour,” Monica said.

The don is said to have slapped the daughter prompting her to scream for help.

Other customers who had checked in the hotel that evening came to rescue the young girl, wrestled the professor close to five minutes, and eventually snatched the girl from his hands.

Upon interrogation, Vivian (not her real name) told them that they have been dating online close to two months and it never dawned to her that she was dating her father.

But Vivian was quick to cast blame to the old man for deserting his first family after he married a second wife.

“We are living from hand to mouth and yet I have a father who is a university don. We are suffering back at home and I have to engage in such clandestine activities to raise money for my school fees and send some to my mother to buy food,” she said.

“He moved with the second woman of whom we cannot refer to him as our mother since she is even younger than me,” she shouted.

The professor after the embarrassment was confronted by the onlookers who demanded that he be a responsible man as opposed to luring young girls and have sexual escapades with them in exchange of money.

To make matters worse, Vivian phoned her mother who had come to see a sick relative at Kakamega County Referral hospital who came breathing fire and descended on the estranged husband with blows.

The woman, who the professor was heard calling Esther, pleaded with him not to embarrass him in public and that they go home to sort out the mess.

“Stop biting me my dear, I am now a changed man and you can be rest assured that I will take full responsibility of the family,” the man pleaded.

However, the security guard manning the hotel came on time and saved the situation by whisking the three away to Kakamega Central Police Station.
